| ACRO provides a library of over 200 world flags, all classified using FAI / IOC country names and three-letter abbreviations. When assigned to Team Pilots and Contest Officials the flags can optionally be added to or excluded from all Results outputs and web pages. | |||||||||
|
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) 3-letter
country codes that FAI uses are upper case. Lower-case characters are
not the same! Use lower-case for your own teams. Further information on IOC codes is available from the Wikepedia website at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IOC_country_codes |

| Plan ahead ... ! To ensure that the flag list in your contest file has the countries that you require, first make a list of the nationalities of all the Pilots, Judges, Jury members and named Contest Officials you will need to register. Open the Teams, Countries and National Flags form and check that all the nations and flags you require are already installed: | |||||||||

Your contest file can use up to 40 nations from the all-countries reference list: |
|||||||||
| ● | To add a missing nation, click on the flag of an unused country to display the reference list. Locate the required country - you can type the 1st character to display those starting with that letter. Now double-click that country or select it and click the Transfer button, and the flag, three-letter IOC abbreviation and country title will be copied into your list. | ||||||||
| ● | Typing the correct upper-case 3-letter abbreviation into the Code column of your list will also identify and transfer the appropriate flag, code and country title. | ||||||||
| ● | Any 1-3 letter code that is not in the reference list will leave the flag slot blank, and you can add your own title - the 'WUP - Warm-Up Pilot' entry shown here is an example. | ||||||||
| ● | It is helpful to sort the IOC codes in alphabetic order here to check for duplicates - the Toolbox > Sort menu does this, and also provides a default list of most used flags. | ||||||||
| ● | You can switch the output of team flags ON or OFF on any form, to set the appearance. | ||||||||
| Avoiding duplications: If you duplicate any IOC codes you'll be told when you attempt to save the table of flags. Sort the table before saving it to make it easier to identify such duplications. |
|||||||||
| There is currently no provision for adding 'new' country flags to this feature - maybe later ... | |||||||||
