Raw Marks entry and printing Pilots Raw Marks Check-Sheets
First - make sure that the Flying Order for the Sequence or Group is correct

●  If you have not set up a Flying Order for the sequence or group you are marking then
every Pilot will be available in the Pilots name drop-list to be marked.
  ●  If you have set up a Flying Order for your Sequence or Group and any of the Pilots have
been 'Cut' then they will not be presented in the Pilots name drop-list to be marked.
The
blue information line at the bottom of the form shows the status of the Flying Order.
Opening the Pilots Marks Entry Form
In the sequences drop-list select the Sequence or Group you wish to work from.
Set
either the First or Last name radio button to display Pilots names as you prefer.
You
can tick one of the 3 check boxes to show the the Flying Order, the ACRO Pilot number or the confidential Pilot's ID.
Now
you can set the Check-Sheet checkboxes on the right to show specific info on each page that you output, and select the Pilot whose marks you want to enter.
Finally
click the "Open the Pilots Score Sheet" button and a new Raw Marks entry sheet will created and displayed for the selected Pilot.
Format and appearance of the Marks Entry form
In every case the marks-entry form will be sized to provide exactly the correct range of judges and figures necessary to completely enter all of the appropriate marks.
The
form is complete when every slot has a mark entered in it, except in the case of the blue Chief Judges 'CHZ's only' column where only HZ's can be entered, not marks.
For
all other marks and penalties slots a mark must be entered - a blank slot does not work as a zero, and ACRO will complain with a suitable error message!
Entering your Pilot Marks
Key-strokes for marks entry
Entries
take one key-press only, and the highlight moves directly to the next slot - the graphic below (click the Keyboard icon on the marks form top-right corner) shows which keys to press.
FairPlay System / non-scoring Chief Judge: (as above). The CJ is shown above the green Flight Summary Sheet (FSS) column, which will only accept confirmed HZ's - shown as CHZ.
FairPlay System / scoring Chief Judge: The CJ will have a normal marks column, and the green Flight Summary Sheet (FSS) column will only accept confirmed HZ's - shown as CHZ.
Raw Marks scoring: Only the judges marks columns appear, a non-scoring CJ is not shown.
You can revise any of the keys in order to accommodate alternate keyboard layouts and key positions - click the keyboard graphic at top-right on the marks form or the Change Keycodes button in File > User Options also accesses this feature.
If you enter some marks for the wrong Judge or Pilot ...
There are two very useful Swap Marks utilities on the Toolbox menu that provide quick solutions if you have entered data into the wrong judges column or Pilots sheet.
Entering the Penalties
If a Pilot has no penalties just press '0' and the highlight will move to the next one, or press the key-combination CTRL-Spacebar to automatically enter all as zero's. Otherwise key-in the number given for each one and use TAB / Shift-TAB or the mouse to reposition the highlight.
Time
Penalties for the 4-minute Final Freestyle
In this case you will see there are TWO slots - one for Mins and the other for Secs. Do NOT simply enter zeros here if the flight time is within the allowed 3m30s to 4m0s time-span - that tells ACRO that the flight took zero time and there should be a 3m 30s penalty!  You MUST separately enter the minutes and the seconds as recorded by the Chief Judge on the Flight Summary Sheet, and ACRO will calculate whether a penalty is applicable or not.
Reviewing the Raw Marks Check-Sheets
When
all the marks are entered click the "Save and Output" button to produce the printed Pilots Raw Marks Check-Sheet, then click Next Pilot to select the next Pilot to enter marks.
Disqualifying a Pilot
It
is essential that you faithfully enter all the marks for every Pilot in the contest file, even if the Pilot is disqualified. You should always do this, so that if there is an investigation at or after the event the correct scoring data and the reason for the disqualification will be accurately stored  for this pilot in the contest file, and if authorised it can immediately be restored. Entering all zeros or HZ's creates an untrue record, and is the wrong solution.
On
the main menu under Marks Processing or in the Pilots score-sheet Toolbox menu click the Disqualify or Re-Instate a Pilot option to formally disqualify a Pilot in a sequence. This process is fully described in a separate page here.
Alternate page line highlighting, Pilots photos and Team flags
The Output menu provides options for switching the Team flags, Pilot photos and the print line highlighter ON and OFF - if the form does not show features you expect, review this menu.
Special sounds
If the sounds are ON (see File > User Options) ten's and HZ's get special attention, a 'wrong key' warning is given, and each new column of marks is announced by 'Next Judge'. This aural feedback is specially useful when the Scoring Director is concentrating on entering data from a large number of Form-A's, helping to ensure that each Judge's marks are accurately transcribed.
Voice "Read-Back" for your marks entered
The Toolbox menu provides two options for English language audio "Read-Back" of your marks, both while you are entering them and also if you later wish to check them.
Sequence Locking
Sequences that have been completed by all Pilots may be locked against further revision - the lock button is shown and they can't be edited unless they are un-locked. You can flip the sequence from locked to unlocked and vice-versa using these buttons.
